Liaoning grants second batch of magnesite production quota

Liaoning has granted the second batch of magnesite production quota of 6.27 million tonnes in 2024, including 4.87 million tonnes for Anshan, 703,200 tonnes for Liaoyang, 545,550 tonnes for Yingkou, 90,000 tonnes for Dandong and 63,000 tonnes for Fushun.
The total magnesite production quota set for this year is 16.75 million tonnes, which amounts to 80% of the total mining capacity of legal licenses approved by the province, including 50% for the first batch and 30% for the second batch.
