Xinjiang Nonferrous sees qualified products from 30ktpa lithium carbonate project

Xinjiang Nonferrous Metals Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. has completed the construction of a 30,000tpa lithium carbonate production line for the phase one of Dahongliu beach rare metals mine project, which broke ground in July 2023, with the first batch of qualified products coming off production line in late May.
Last year, geological exploration for the project showed promising results, with lithium oxide reserves reaching 1.5 million tonnes. So far, nearly 3.35 billion yuan (461 million US dollars) has been invested in the project.
