Luoyang Copper Processing gets approval to build copper plate project

Chinalco Luoyang Copper Processing Co., Ltd. has received initial EIA approval from Luoyang Ecological Environment Bureau to build a copper and copper alloy wide and thick plate production line project.
According to the environmental impact assessment (EIA), the company will remove some old equipment at its coil pipe plant in Jianxi District and build a new production line with an annual production capacity of 18,000 tonnes of copper and copper alloy wide and thick plates. Total investment for the project is around 160 million yuan (22.05 million US dollars), including 1.12 million yuan (153,561 US dollars) for environmental protection.
