Fuquan Dingsheng to increase molybdenum oxide production capacity

Xiamen Tungsten announced some adjustments to the molybdenum oxide production line project developed by its subsidiary Fuquan Dingsheng New Material Co., Ltd. The total investment for the project increased to RMB159.1 million (USD21.93 million) from the original RMB109.9 million (USD15.15 million), and the molybdenum oxide production capacity is expanded from 20,000tpa (including 2,000tpa of ferromolybdenum) to 22,000tpa (including 2,000tpa of ferromolybdenum).
After the adjustments, the project is scheduled to begin production in Q2 2025. It is expected to improve Xiamen Tungsten's molybdenum business and ensure supply of raw material for downstream deep processing.
