China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.5 million tonnes in May 2024, up by 7.0% year on year, and the production in the first four months increased by 7.1% from the prior year period to 25.89 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to April, China produced 14.24 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 7.1% from the year ago period, including 3.58 million tonnes in April, up by 7.2% YoY.
