CISA: Major steel mills' daily steel product output down to 2.02 Mt in early May

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 20.24 million tonnes of steel products during the first ten-day period of May, during which the daily output was 2,023,900 tonnes, down by 5.87% from late April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held steel products inventory of around 16.28 million tonnes, an increase of 398,400 tonnes or 2.51% from ten days ago (late April).
