Zhejiang Hailiang to build copper project in Morocco

Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. announced plan to invest USD288 million to build a new energy materials industrial park in Morocco. The proposed project, covering a land area of around 304,293 sq. meters, will be able to produce 50,000t of unwrought copper and alloys, 35,000t of copper pipe, 40,000t of precision brass rod, 150 million pieces of precision copper alloy pipe, and 25,000t of copper foil for lithium battery annually, with a planned construction period of 36 months.
