Damei New Materials breaks on calcined bauxite clinker project

The groundbreaking ceremony for a 400,000tpa high-aluminum calcined bauxite clinker project developed by Chongqing Damei New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Bosai Group, was held at the industrial park in Nanchuan, Chongqing on April 18.
With a total investment of RMB1.3 billion (USD180 million), the project would cover a land area of 300Mu (20 hectares) and build a production line with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes of high-grade calcined bauxite clinker as well as associated facilities. The project is scheduled to complete construction in January 2025 and enter the commissioning phase in the following month.
When fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual production value of no less than RMB1.5 billion (USD207 million), along with annual tax revenue of at least RMB50 million (USD6.91 million), and would help create more than 200 jobs.
