Chinese PrNd oxide prices continue to move up

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 16 Apr 24 - Given limited stocks held by suppliers, today mainstream prices for Chinese PrNd oxide move up to RMB385,000-390,000/t (USD53,188-53,879/t) D/P, up by RMB2,000/t (USD276/t) from last Friday. Considering that downstream buyers show growing watchful sentiments, insiders believe that Chinese PrNd oxide prices would hover at the current level in the coming days.
A producer in Guangdong revealed that today he quoted PrNd oxide at RMB396,000/t (USD54,704/t) D/P and could sell at no lower than RMB395,000/t (USD54,569/t) D/P, but concluded no deals yet. "Last Friday I sold 5t of the material at RMB391,000/t (USD54,017/t)," the producer said, adding that he received much fewer enquiries at his current quotation and he expected Chinese PrNd oxide prices to stabilize at the current level for some time.
With an annual production capacity of 1,200t of PrNd oxide, the producer produced around 110t last month and expects to have an output of 100t this month.
A producer in Hunan revealed that today he quoted PrNd oxide at RMB395,000/t (USD54,569/t) D/P. "Last Friday I just sold around 5t of the material at RMB385,000/t (USD53,188/t) D/P," the producer said, adding that he sells PrNd oxide mainly to regular downstream consumers. He believed that Chinese PrNd oxide prices would be relatively stable in the coming days.
With an annual production capacity of 1,000t of PrNd oxide, the producer produced around 60t last month and expects to have an output of 70t this month. He holds about 120t of stocks now, unchanged from last month.
