China's total import and export of goods increased by 5% year on year to 10.17 trillion yuan (1.43 trillion U.S. dollars) in the first quarter of 2024, including exports of 5.74 trillion yuan (790 billion U.S. dollars), up by 4.9% YoY, and imports of 4.43 trillion yuan (610 billion U.S. dollars), up by 5% YoY, according to China Customs.
