Chalco's annual bauxite output exceeds 30 million tonnes

Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) achieved stable production of high quality products in 2023, with annual bauxite output reaching 30.42 million tonnes, according to the company's annual report.
In 2023, Chalco produced 16.67 million tonnes of metallurgical grade alumina, down by 5.5% YoY, while metallurgical grade alumina sales increased by 24.67% YoY to 6.52 million tonnes.
The company also produced 6.79 million tonnes and sold 6.80 million tonnes of primary aluminum (including alloy) in 2023, down by 1.31% and 0.15% respectively from the previous year.
