Luoning Zhongtianli to resume high purity arsenic production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 26 Mar 24 - One of major Chinese high purity minor metals producers, Luoning Zhongtianli New Materials Co., Ltd. planned to resume arsenic metal 99.99999%min in late April, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal.
The source said, "Given that our consumers' demand stays weak and we hold enough stocks for selling, we halted the production since last September and plan to resume the production late next month". They believe that they would keep the price firm at RMB270/kg (USD37.34/kg) delivered T/T 30 days, while hold no confidence about the market.
The producer, with a production capacity of 50tpy of arsenic metal 99.9999%min, halted production since September and kept selling inventory since then. They hold around 2t of stocks now, without much change from late last week.
Currently, the mainstream prices of Chinese indium ingot 99.995%imn stand at RMB260-270/kg (USD35.96-37.34/kg) delivered T/T 30 days, in line with one week ago. Insiders believed that the prevailing prices of Chinese arsenic metal 99.9999%min would stay unmoved in the upcoming days as most suppliers had no intention to lower prices.
