Therefore, the current Chinese rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block) mainstream prices hover at RMB155-160/kg (USD21.5-22.2/kg) EXW T/T 60 days, in line with three days ago. Insiders forecasted that the Chinese rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block) market would continue witnessing stable prices in the upcoming week.
A producer in Inner Mongolia revealed that he held rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block) quotation steady at around RMB157/kg (USD21.8/kg) EXW T/T 60 days and has intention to sell at about RMB155/kg (USD21.5/kg) this Wednesday, without much change from three days ago. He last sold five tons at around RMB155/kg (USD21.5/kg) three days ago. He last purchased 10t of PrNd mischmetal at about RMB423,000/t (USD58,758/t) EXW D/P late last week. His regular suppliers quoted around RMB430,000/t (USD59,730/t) EXW D/P for him today. Based on his experience, he still could purchase at about RMB423,000/t (USD58,758/t). "In view of the firm PrNd mischmetal prices, I still have no intention to lower rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block) prices in the coming week," said the producer, who predicted that the Chinese rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block) market would continue witnessing stable prices in the coming week/
The producer, on basis of an annual production capacity of 480t of rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block), produced about 65t so far in 2024, compared with approximately 300t in 2023. He expected an output of around 30t in March, without much change MoM. He holds an inventory of about three tons now, without much change MoM.
A consumer in Guangdong province claimed that his regular rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block) suppliers still quoted about RMB158/kg (USD21.9/kg) EXW T/T 60 days for him this Thursday. Based on his experience, he could purchase at around RMB155/kg (USD21.5/kg) today, in line with three days ago. He concluded his latest procurement the day before yesterday, when he bought five tons at around RMB155/kg (USD21.5/kg). "I don't face difficulties in replenishing stocks and plan to hold a wait-and-see attitude towards the market in the coming week," said the consumer, who couldn't bargain for cheaper prices from suppliers and predicted that the Chinese rough sintered NdFeB magnet N52 (block) mainstream prices would keep staying at current levels in the coming week.
