1 Market Highlights
As the market saw tight supply of tin concentrate, most suppliers held back from selling and decreased their TCs during the past month. Therefore, the prices of tin concentrate increased this month.
As most downstream clients purchased actively before Spring Festival, the prices of tin ingot increased in general during the past month. However, most downstream clients replenished stocks early this month, the market saw sluggish deals late January. Therefore, the prices of tin ingot edged down in the last days of the month.
Most suppliers of tin solder kept their TCs for promotion despite that the prices of raw materials moved up. Thus, the prices of tin solder increased slightly in January. However, most electronic factories suspended production due to Spring Festival since middle this month, resulting in few orders in the market.
