Gansu Jinyouke to build lithium battery materials project

The environmental impact assessment (EIA) for a lithium battery materials project developed by Gansu Jinyouke New Material Technology Co., Ltd. has been released for public disclosure for the first time.
The company plans to build the project covering an area of nearly 60,441 square meters at Jinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jinchang, Gansu, according to the EIA. Construction mainly includes production plants and associated supporting facilities and environmental protection facilities, with a planned production capacity of 300tpa of lithium metal, 900tpa of titanium powder, 100tpa of zirconium powder, 300tpa of lithium hydride, 100tpa of calcium hydride, 20tpa of lithium aluminium hydride, 1,000tpa of sodium hydride, 500tpa of lithium salts and 2,000tpa of lithium chloride.
