    1 Market Highlights

    In January, dragged by bearish attitudes from market participants, the mainstream prices of zinc ingot moved down.

    In January, the basic TCs for zinc concentrate moved down slightly due to tight supply. Most oversea suppliers kept low level TCs for import zinc concentrate supported by tight supply, TCs for import zinc concentrate kept stable.

    In January, despite weak demand from downstream, supported by increased prices of zinc ingot, the prices of zinc die-casting alloy and zinc powder moved up; but prices of zinc oxide decreased slightly due to weak demand; with TCs for zinc die-casting alloy and zinc powder unchanged.
