China's refined copper (copper cathode) production was around 1.17 million tonnes in December 2023, up by 16.6% from a year ago, and that of copper products declined by 0.2% year on year to 1.95 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In 2023, China produced about 12.99 million tonnes of copper cathode, up by 13.5% from the prior year, and 22.17 million tonnes of copper products, up by 4.9% year on year.
