In December 2023, China produced 60.87 million tonnes of pig iron, down by 11.8% YoY, 67.44 million tonnes of crude steel, down by 14.9% YoY, and 108.5 million tonnes of steel products, up by 1.5% YoY, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
