A titanium metal melting industrial park project developed by Shaanxi Wanhao Tijin Special Material Technology Co., Ltd. was recently put into operation at Baoji Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
With a total investment of RMB1.1 billion (USD153 million), the industry park introduced state-of-the-art production lines for melting titanium and its alloys and automatic welding of electrode.
The project, consisting of two phases, kicked off construction in January 2023 and took just around a year to come on stream. When fully operational, it will be able to produce 25,000tpa of titanium and titanium alloy ingot with annual production value of RMB2.2 billion (USD306 million) and help create over 300 jobs.
