China's GEM sold more than 170,000t of ternary precursor in 2023, up by over 10% from 2022. GEM's QMB project in Indonesia exceeded production guidance and completed shipments of more than 27,000 nickel metal tons of MHP in 2023.
During the year, the company recycled and dismantled more than 27,000t (3.0GWh) of power battery, up by over 50% from 2022, and achieved a production capacity of 10,000tpa of lithium carbonate from the recycling process, with the recovery rate for lithium above 95%.
