Fujian Evergreen puts phase two of lithium battery recycling project into operation

Fujian Evergreen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. put the second phase of the lithium battery recycling project into operation on December 29.
With a total investment of RMB2.31 billion (USD323 million), the phase two project is able to recycle 40,000 tonnes of waste lithium battery and produce 30,000 tonnes of ternary precursor used for power battery annually at full capacity, and it is expected to add annual production value of RMB5 billion (USD699 million).
The company is also planning to commence the third phase of the project with a land area of RMB350Mu (23.33 hectares) and a total investment of RMB4 billion (USD559 million), aiming to achieve annual capacity to process 150,000t of waste lithium battery and produce 100,000t of ternary precursor by 2025.
