Sanxiang Advanced Materials partners with Nanjing Youtian to develop integrated Zr-Hf industry chain

Sanxiang Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. has entered into agreement with Nanjing Youtian Metal Technology Co., Ltd. to establish a long-term partnership in developing an integrated zirconium and hafnium industry chain.
Under a five-year agreement, Nanjing Youtian will preferentially purchase products including zirconium oxychloride and zirconium sponge from Sanxiang Advanced Materials and its related parties, with the planned purchase volume from the first to the fifth year of 1,500-2,000t, 2,500-3,500t, 4,000-5,000t, 5,000-7,000t and 7,000t-10,000t respectively, for a five-year total of 20,000-27,500t.
At the same time, Sanxiang Advanced Materials agreed to buy nuclear grade zirconium dioxide exclusively from Nanjing Youtian and its related parties, which will supply nuclear grade zirconium dioxide to no more than three Chinese nuclear grade zirconium sponge companies, including Sanxiang Advanced Materials. During the five-year period, Sanxiang Advanced Materials plans to purchase a total of 9,550-10,800t of nuclear grade zirconium dioxide, including 250-500t, 1,000-1,300t, 2,200-2,500t, 2,800-3,000t and 3,300-3,500t in sequence from the first to the fifth year.
The two sides also agreed to conduct cooperation on equity investment to advance the integrated zirconium and hafnium industry chain project, including but not limited to setting up joint ventures, cross holding, etc.
