In November 2023, China produced 64.84 million tonnes of pig iron, down by 4.8% YoY, 76.1 million tonnes of crude steel, up by 0.4% YoY, and 110.44 million tonnes of steel products, up by 4.2% YoY, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first eleven months, China's production of pig iron, crude steel and steel products totaled 810.31 million tonnes, 952.14 million tonnes and 1,252.82 million tonnes respectively, up by 1.8%, 1.5% and 5.7% from the prior year period.
