Global zinc sheet market was in supply deficit of about 100 tonnes in October 2023 with production and consumption of around 1,210,800 tonnes and 1,211,000 tonnes respectively, and the global production and consumption of the metal totaled 11.64 million tonnes and 11.62 million tonnes respectively in the first ten months of this year, with a supply surplus of 27,100 tonnes, according to the latest data from the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).
Global zinc mine production was around 1,102,900 tonnes in October and 10.71 million tonnes in the first ten months.
