500ktpa green aluminum alloy project breaks ground in Gongyi

On November 17, Henan Yongheng Technology Co., Ltd. kicked off construction of the 500,000tpa green new-type aluminum alloy project at the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone in Gongyi.
With a total investment of RMB3.5 billion (USD487 million), the project consists of two parts, the recycling of aluminum resource and the production of green aluminum alloy. By introducing state-of-the-art production lines and processing equipment, the project is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of RMB10 billion (USD1.39 billion), along with tax revenue of RMB500 million (USD69.54 million), and would help create more than 600 jobs.
When the project becomes operational, Gongyi will have a total aluminum deep-processing capacity of more than 6 million tonnes per annum, further strengthening its position as the biggest aluminum plate, strip and foil processing base in China.
