The Dahutang Tungsten Mine and Tungsten Industrial Park project was launched in Wuning, Jiangxi on October 7.
Dahutang tungsten deposit has 1.22 million tonnes of tungsten resources (WO3 65%), with associated 690,000 tonnes of copper resources and other resources including silver, molybdenum, tin, and gallium.
Earlier this year, Jiujiang government entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Tungsten Holding Group Co., Ltd. to jointly develop Dahutang tungsten mine. With a total planned investment of RMB10 billion (USD1.37 billion), the project consists of a 20,000tpd tungsten ore mining and dressing project in the northern area of Dahutang tungsten deposit and a 20,000tpa APT smelter project.
