China's Ministry of Commerce had received some applications for the export licence of gallium and germanium products since the export controls kicked in on August 1, and some Chinese companies that meet relevant requirements have obtained export licences for gallium and germanium products, a spokesman from the Ministry of Commerce said on September 21.
