60ktpa copper cathode and 10ktpa iron phosphate project breaks ground in Yingkou, China

Yingkou Jianfa Shenghai multi-metal comprehensive utilization and technology upgrading project broke ground at Liaoning (Yingkou) Coastal Industrial Base on September 20.
The project is jointly developed by Xiamen C&D Corporation Limited and Liaoning Shenghai Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., with a total investment of RMB12.15 billion (USD1.66 billion). The project has an annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 2.36 million tonnes of sulfuric acid and 100,000 tonnes of iron phosphate. Upon completion, it is expected to generate annual production value of RMBB58 billion (USD7.95 billion) and create more than 1,500 jobs. The project is on track to become a 100 billion-level industrial cluster for copper cathode and iron phosphate.
