China's copper cathode output up by 16.4% YoY in Aug

China's refined copper (copper cathode) production recorded about 1.12 million tonnes in August 2023, up by 16.4% from a year ago, and that of copper products decreased by 0.5% from last August to 1.87 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first eight months, China produced about 8.41 million tonnes of copper cathode, up by 13.3% YoY, and 14.48 million tonnes of copper products, up by 6.1% YoY.
