1. Market Highlights
As most downstream consumers came back to the market, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate and niobium concentrat market prices increased in August. Encouraged by higher raw materials prices, Chinese tantalum oxide, tantalum metal, niobium oxide and ferroniobium market prices rose this month.
Encouraged by strong demand from downstream consumers, European tantalite, and ferroniobium market prices increased this month. As most consumers remained inactive in placing orders, American tantalum metal prices decreased in August.
