Pangang Vanadium & Titanium and Hanzhong Steel sign vanadium slag consigned processing contract

On September 8, Pangang Group and Shaanxi Steel Group reached agreements for the cooperation on smelting technology service of vanadium-titanium magnetite. On the same day, Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium Resources Co., Ltd. and Shangang Group Hanzhong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. signed contracts on the consigned processing of vanadium slag and the purchase and sales of vanadium products.
Under the contracts, Hanzhong Steel will supply all of its vanadium slag to Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium for consigned processing into vanadium pentoxide flake, which will be purchased by Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium and its affiliated companies. In accordance with market principles, Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium will sell vanadium nitride to Hanzhong Steel. The contracts period is from the signing day to February 15, 2028.
Hanzhong Steel plans to supply 50,000-130,000t of vanadium slag, equivalent to about 4,000-10,000t of vanadium pentoxide, to Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium for consigned processing annually.
Under the contracts, Hanzhong Steel will supply all of its vanadium slag to Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium for consigned processing into vanadium pentoxide flake, which will be purchased by Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium and its affiliated companies. In accordance with market principles, Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium will sell vanadium nitride to Hanzhong Steel. The contracts period is from the signing day to February 15, 2028.
