100ktpa silicon metal granule processing and recycling project to break ground in Yunnan

On August 30, Yunnan Longling Industrial Park and Longling Yuansheng Silicon Material Co., Ltd. held the signing ceremony for the company's 100,000tpa silicon metal granule new materials processing and comprehensive recycling project.
With the total investment estimated at RMB110 million (USD15.16 million), the project will be located at Huangcaoba area of Longling Industrial Park (inside the plant of Yunnan Yongchang Silicon Industry Co., Ltd.). The project will add two silicon metal granule processing lines in a new 2,360-square-meter factory. When in full operation, the project is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of more than RMB1 billion (USD138 million), along with tax revenue and surcharge of RMB20 million (USD2.76 million).
