Northern Rare Earth H1 metal production hits new high

China Northern Rare Earth (Group) High-Tech Co., Ltd. reported smelting and separation production of 83,500t and rare earth metals production of 13,100t in the first half of 2023, up by 27.44% and 18.13% respectively from the prior year period, both hitting a new high, while its function materials output for the period declined by 4.55% from a year ago to 32,800t, according to the company's semi-annual report for 2023.
