Yangling Metron New Materials Inc. announced a plan to invest RMB100 million (USD13.94 million) to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary for the R&D and production of tungsten wire as the company seeks to further integrate resources to boost tungsten diamond wire quality as well as develop new products.
Shaanxi Metron Tungsten Material Technology Co., Ltd., the proposed new subsidiary, is expected to bring Yangling Metron's total production capacity of tungsten wire materials to 12 million square meters per annum.
