1.5ktpa titanium alloy tubes project breaks ground in Tongzhou Bay

On June 30, Hangtai 1,500tpa titanium alloy tube project broke ground at the high-tech comprehensive industrial zone in Tongzhou Bay. The project is for the R&D and production of titanium alloy tubes used in aviation and petrochemical engineering and is expected to begin operation in September 2024 and become a top supplier to aviation giants within five years after the start of production.
With total investment of RMB180 million (USD24.86 million) from Shanghai CDM Titanium Industry, the project has a planned land area of 30Mu (2 hectares) and would achieve annual taxable sales of no lower than RMB250 million (USD34.53 million) and tax payment of more than RMB10 million (USD1.38 million).
