Promoted by the news of Myanmar's ban on mining, most downstream clients purchased actively and many suppliers of tin concentrate held bullish views to the market as the market saw tight supply. However, the mainstream prices of tin concentrate decreased generally in May. Most producers of tin concentrate firmed their TCs stable during the past month.
Before the late May, the market demand kept weak and social inventories still remained a high level. So, the prices of tin ingot showed downward trend. However, the prices of tin ingot went up since 20th this month boosted by the news of Myanmar's Wa State reaffirmed tin mining ban. Even thought, the prices of tin ingot decreased in May generally due to dim market.
During the past month, the terminal market demand recovered less than expected and the prices of raw materials went down in May. Therefore, the prices of tin solder move down slightly this month.
