Guangxi Huayou Lithium completes construction of battery grade lithium salt project

On May 31, a ceremony was held in Yulin, Guangxi to celebrate construction completion of the 50,000tpy battery grade lithium salt project, indicating that the first lithium salt production line invested by Huayou Cobalt in China entered commissioning stage.
With a land area of 368.83 Mu (24.59 hectares) and total investment of RMB2,116 million (USD298 million), the project was operated by Guangxi Huayou Lithium Co., Ltd. and went into commissioning only nine months after launching construction in September 2022.
