1 Market Highlights
In April, Most producers of primary lead ingot firmed the production stable but many of producers of secondary lead ingot deceased the output due to regular equipment maintenance. Therefore, the prices of lead ingot increased slightly due to tight supply and stable consumption.
In April, the supply of domestic lead concentrate kept tight due to active purchases from downstream clients, leading to the prices of TCs for lead concentrate decreased; the supply of imported lead concentrate remained limited under the increased prices of lead ingot overseas. Due to most domestic smelters purchased actively, the mainstream TCs for imported lead concentrate also edged down . Most downstream clients purchased actively . Both supply and transactions of imported lead concentrate remained limited in general in April.
