At present, the mainstream prices of Chinese vanadium pentoxide powder 99.5%min stay at RMB130,000-135,000/t (USD8.6-8.9/lb V2O5) EXW D/P, the same as late last week. According to the feedback of our regular clients, we could at most close deal at RMB133,000/t (USD8.8/lb V2O5) EXW D/P for the moment," said a producer in North China. They last sold 5t of vanadium pentoxide powder 99.5%min at this price level late last week, they still quote this price for the moment. Prices of ammonium metavanadate 98%min they inquired moved down to the latest around RMB105,000/t (USD15.4/kg) EXW D/P. In view of the dropping raw material prices, they predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese vanadium pentoxide powder 99.5%min would edge down in the coming week.
With an annual production capacity of 1,000t, they produced about 240t in 2022 and nearly 100t so far this year. The producer expects to produce about 30t in April, the same as last month. They have about 5t of regular stocks now, unchanged MoM.
"Few buyers would add inventory for the moment, and we could only sell our goods to several regular clients for the moment.
