A producer in South China noted that he lifts ferrodysprosium 80% quotation to about RMB1,900/kg (USD276/kg) EXW T/T 30 days and considers selling at around RMB1,890/kg (USD274/kg) at present, while he had intention to sell at about RMB1,850/kg (USD268/kg) one week ago. He last sold one ton at around RMB1,890/kg (USD274/kg) late last week . "I have difficulty in purchasing dysprosium oxide 99.5%min at prices below RMB1,930/kg (USD280/kg) EXW D/P now, while I could buy at about RMB1,890/kg (USD274/kg) one week ago, so I had to increase ferrodysprosium 80% prices over the past days," said the producer, who has difficulty in gaining orders from consumers and forecasted that the Chinese ferrodysprosium 80% mainstream prices would not change much in the upcoming week.
With an annual production capacity of 360t, the producer expects to produce around 30t of ferrodysprosium 80% this month, without much change MoM. He produced approximately 200t tons and 100t tons respectively last year and so far this year . He holds an inventory of around 30t now, without much change MoM.
