ISKY Chemicals Co. stopped the production of manganese sulfate

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 17 Apr 23 – ISKY Chemicals Co., being one of the major producer of manganese sulfate 32%min in China, stopped their production of manganese sulfate 32%min since early April and predicts to produce no more than 3,000t this month, a source from the company revealed to Asian Metal.
The source noted, "In view of the soft demand, we stopped our production of manganese sulfate 32%min for equipment maintenance early this month, and we plans to resume the production in the second half of April". The producer currently plans to produce about 3,000t this month.
With the annual production capacity of 100,000t of manganese sulfate 32%min, the producer intends to produce about 3,000t in April, while they produced nearly 7,000t in the previous month. They hold around no inventory at present.
Given no inventory pressure, most suppliers of manganese sulfate 32%min in China keep their prices firm despite the sluggish demand. Thus, the current mainstream prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min stand at RMB6,200-6,400/t (USD902-931/t) EXW D/P, in line with mid this week. Insiders hold views that the prevailing prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min would remain stable in the following days considering no inventory pressure despite the insufficient orders.
