Tangshan Xinfeng decreases industrial grade lithium carbonate output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 4 Apr 23 - Tangshan Xinfeng Lithium Co., a major industrial grade lithium carbonate 99%min in Hebei province, produced about 400t of industrial grade lithium carbonate 99%min in March 2023, down by 200t MoM, according to a source from the company.
"Dragged by sliding prices and weak demand from consumers, we produced only around 400t of industrial grade lithium carbonate 99%min in March, while our output in February recorded about 600t in February," said the source, who expects to produce around 300t in April 2023.
Established in 2017, Tangshan Xinfeng Lithium Co. owns an annual production capacity of 15,000t of industrial grade lithium carbonate 99%min, Na 0.15%max, K 0.2%max. The company's outputs in 2022 and so far in 2023 recorded about 6,000t and 1,600t respectively. It holds an inventory of around 400t at the moment, without much change from early March.
The current mainstream prices of industrial grade lithium carbonate 99%min, Na 0.15%max, K 0.2%max in Hebei province, China dropped to RMB190,000-200,000/t (USD27,586-29,038/t) delivered D/P, down by RMB30,000/t (USD4,356/t) from one week ago.
