Hunan Haili increases LMO output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 31 Mar 23 - Hunan Haili Lithium Technology Co., a major LMO producers in Hunan, China, increased its LMO production by around 100t MoM to about 300t in March 2023, according to a source from the company.
"Although our clients purchased inactively over the past month, we produced about 300t of LMO in March as we succeeded in getting OEM orders of around 200t, while our output in February recorded only around 200t," said the source.
Established in 2015, Hunan Haili Lithium Technology Co. owns an annual production capacity of 9,600t of LMO but produced only approximately 600t so far in 2023 due to poor demand from end users. The company produced about 5,000t in 2022. It holds an inventory of around 400t at present, in line with late February.
The current mainstream LMO prices in Hunan, China dropped to RMB66,000-72,000/t (USD9,624-10,499/t) delivered D/A 180 days, down by around RMB7,000/t (USD1,021/t) from one week ago.
