Jiangxi Jinyang increases secondary lead ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 29 Mar 23 - Jiangxi Jinyang Metallurgical Incorporated Co., ltd., one of major secondary lead ingot 99.994%min producers in Jiangxi, doubled production of lead ingot production to about 8,000t in March.
"Due to the shutdown of production last month for equipment maintenance for a few days, the stock of raw materials was overstocked. We decided to increase the output to around 8,000t this month, up by 4,000t from last month," the source revealed, adding that they would probably decrease the production to about 7,000t next month.
Based on production capacity of 100,000tpy of secondary lead ingot 99.994%min, they totally produced about 66,000t in 2022 and around 16,000t this date to year. Currently, they hold about 3,000t of stocks. Half of their products is sold to their own group, and the other half is sold to the battery factory by the long-term order.
As the market saw stable demand over the past week, the current mainstream prices of secondary lead ingot 99.994%min stood at RMB15,030-15,230/t (USD2,188-2,218/t) Inc VAT EXW in Jiangxi, in line with yesterday. Upon both stable of supply and demand in the market, insiders believe that the prices of secondary lead ingot would keep steady in the upcoming days.
