Yingke Fine Chemicals to start equipment maintenance

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 29 Mar 23 - Chengde Yingke Fine Chemicals Co., the only aluminum fluoride producer in Hebei of China, plans to start equipment maintenance from early April and would produce around 3,500t in March, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We plan to start regular equipment maintenance from early next month for all the two production lines and might produce 3,500t this month," said the source, who might produce less than 2,000t in April and holds no stock now. The maintenance would last for around half a month, noted the source.
With two production lines and the total production capacity of 45,000tpy, they produced around 27,000t in 2022 and over 8,000t so far this year.
Current mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in China stand at RMB8,600-8,800/t (USD1,250-1,279/t) EXW, stable from late last week. As aluminum smelters would return for new orders from early April, the demand would improve and prices might get support.
