"Established in early 2023, our company started heating furnaces on February 8 and finished it in early March when we embarked on producing secondary aluminum alloy ingot, with an annual production capacity of around 60,000t. We expect to produce nearly 2,800t this month", a source from the company said, and added that they have one 45-ton top furnace and one 45-ton bottom furnace in operation at present.
The producer holds an annual production capacity of 60,000t and owns three smelting furnaces, one 45-ton top furnace and two 45-ton bottom furnaces, in total. They expect to produce around 25,000t in 2023, having no stock now.
On Monday, the mainstream prices of aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 in East China stood at RMB18,500-18,700/t (USD2,689-2,719/t) delivered D/P, up by RMB100/t (USD15/t) from last Friday. Given that the current market sees sluggish demand with few orders from consumers, insiders believe that the prevailing prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 would remain stable in the coming week.
