Western Mining exceeds 2022 ore mining target

Western Mining reported on March 24 that it mined 32.48 million tonnes of ore and processed 32.72 million tonnes in 2022, completing 104.87% and 103.84% of its annual target respectively. The company's annual mined production includes 51,466t of lead in concentrate, 112,028t of zinc in concentrate, 143,951t of copper in concentrate, 3,373t of molybdenum in concentrate, 1,707t of nickel in concentrate, 181.05 million tonnes of iron fine, 350,176t of iron pellet, 257kg of gold in concentrate and 129,725kg of silver in concentrate.
In 2022, the company produced about 166,000t of copper cathode, 75,000t of lead ingot, 87,000t of zinc ingot, and 1,202t of ammonium metavanadate.
The company also reported annual production of 94,542t of high purity magnesium hydroxide, high-purity magnesium oxide, 12,463t of extra fine magnesium hydroxide and 3,909t of fused magnesia.
