    BEIJING (Asian Metal) 24 Mar 23 - Due to stable domestic prices and flat ocean freight, the mainstream import prices of dead burned magnesia 90%min 3-15mm remain unchanged from last week at USD245-266/t CIF Rotterdam.Asian Metal Copyright They believe that the mainstream import prices would remain unchanged in the coming week due to stable prices in China.Asian Metal Copyright As most suppliers held their prices firmed supported by production cost, insiders predict that the mainstream import prices in Europe would remain steady next week.

    "The current quotation from our supplier for dead burned magnesia 90%min 3-15mm stands at USD260/t CIF Rotterdam and refused any lower prices, unchanged from last week," a consumer in Poland revealed, adding that they last purchased about 100t at USD260/t on Monday this week. They noted that as their supplier had no intention to decrease the price and the ocean freight remained unmoved for nearly one month.Asian Metal Copyright "Our supplier in China quoted for dead burned magnesia 90%min 3-15mm keeps unchanged from last week at USD260t CIF Rotterdam with no more concession," another consumer in Ireland reported, adding that they last purchased about 150t at such price last Saturday with a 35-day sailing schedule.Asian Metal Copyright Therefore, they predict that import prices would level off in the coming week.

    Based on an annual consumption capacity of 10,000t, they consumed about 500t this month, on par with last month, holding an inventory of 1,000t now.

    With a consumption capacity of 1,800tpy, they consumed about 200t this month, unchanged from last month. Presently they hold no stock in hand.
