Ma'anshan Pengfei Metal increases tin solder production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 24 Mar 23 - Due to the arrival of the industry peak season, Ma'anshan Pengfei Metal Material Co., Ltd., one of major tin solder producers in Anhui, increased the output of tin solder to about 50t in March.
"As we received some orders in advanced, we increased tin solder production to about 50t this month, up by 10t from last month," the source said from the company, adding that they didn't have plan to increase production further as they held a bearish view to the market.
With an annual production capacity of 1,200t, the company purchases tin ingot 99.95%min to produce tin solder wire, tin solder bar and other tin solder products and sells its products to electronics producers in East China. Now, they hold about 15t of inventories in hand.
Driven by increasing prices of raw materials, the mainstream prices for tin solder Sn 99.3%min Cu 0.7%max stand at RMB191-193/kg (USD28.0-28.3/kg) EXW down in East China today, up by about RMB2/kg(USD0.29/kg) from yesterday. Even so, most downstream clients purchased from hand to mouth, insiders predict that the mainstream prices for tin solder would keep flat tomorrow.
