Chinese manganese sulfate prices remain stable

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 22 March 23 – As the market shows a stable demand, the majority of Chinese manganese sulfate suppliers intend to firm their prices. Currently, the prevailing prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min stay at RMB6,200-6,400/t (USD901-930/t) EXW D/P, unchanged from late last week. Given that most downstream clients hold watchful attitudes to the market and purchase cautiously, insiders believe that the mainstream prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min would remain steady this week.
A producer in South China noticed that they currently quote RMB6,300/t (USD915/t) EXW D/P for manganese sulfate 32%min and they could consider the price as low as RMB6,200/t (USD901/t), in line with the end of last week. The producer failed to receive a new order today and last sold 100t at RMB6,200/t (USD901/t) two weeks ago. In view of the stable demand and no inventory pressure, the producer intends to keep their price unchanged and expects that the prevailing prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min would remain unchanged in the following days.
With an annual production capacity of 30,000t of manganese sulfate 32%min, the producer would like to produce nearly 800t this month, unchanged from that in February. They have no inventory at the moment.
Another producer in South China disclosed, "We currently keep our quotation for manganese sulfate 32%min unchanged from late last week at RMB6,300/t (USD915/t) EXW D/P without concession". The producer noted that they received no inquiry today and last sold 1,00t at RMB6,300/t (USD915/t) at the beginning of March. Although the market shows a soft demand, the producer intends to stick to their price and expects that the prevailing prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min would stay firm this week supported by the low inventory.
